What I was looking at here through the viewfinder was a series of repeated shapes, be they trees, people or simply forms in the snowy landscape. The task really made me begin to look in a new way. In fact, the whole assignment and the course so far has had that effect: causing me to search for specific design elements and to begin to reach beyond simply seeing a 'picture'.
