I chose this window to photograph as it seemed to neatly frame the image of the Matterhorn with obvious vertical and horizontal lines.
This photograph is a bit of a cheat, in that there are no horizontal lines to speak of, but I love the colour and shape of the vertically-placed snowboards and skiis!
These two photos show a covered walkway in a area of shops in Cervinia. The horizontal and vertical lines were easy to spot. What is more significant is the expressions on the faces of the two figures - my wife and daughter. They are clearly having a great time - laughing at my photographic antics!
