Colour at any price!

I went to a Formula 2 race event at Silverstone today. I was experimenting with a kind of 'documentary' style... There is an enormous amount to learn, but it is necessary to start somewhere! I'm concious of keeping a certain 'distance' - I would like to get much closer, but all in good time.

I was also trying to keep the various 'elements of design' in mind and not simply forget them as I move slowly through the assignments. As regards colour, what has recently been posted is not assignment-specific, but simply an practised awareness.

Yet more responses to 'colour'...

I shall now start selected from previous collections, a range of images that seem to be mainly about colour. It's late now, but in the morning I shall search out some photographs in earnest...

More encounters with colour: becoming more and more aware...

As I am becoming more aware of colour all around, I shall be taking photographs just of what I see. But as the reading involved becomes more meaningful, then such pictures will be more concentrated and thoughtful. Balanced against this is the tempremental nature of 'Blogger' and all that the mechanics of blogging entails! As with other OCA members I am finding this to be a frustrating experience at times...

Colour: beginning to look...

Whilst reading the manual on the new subject of 'colour', I have found myself beginning to look in a new way. Not only at individual colours, but also how they react with other colours.
